Overview

The issue of online violence against women and girls has reached critical levels globally, affecting safety, mental health, and social participation in digital spaces. From hateful content and the misuse of emerging technologies like deepfakes to the reinforcement of gender bias in AI systems, women face significant risks online.

The workshop aims to review progress in technology combating online violence against women, identify persistent barriers, and propose solutions to emerging challenges. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

We welcome both new and recent research, including non-archival submissions to showcase work published elsewhere, if it is especially relevant to the workshop's theme. Accepted formats include:

Format and Styling

Submissions should be single-blind due to limited publication time. Submissions must be in English, in double-column format, and must adhere to the ACM template and format (also available in Overleaf). Word users may use the Word Interim Template, and the recommended setting for LaTeX is:

Fast Track

Our workshop is participating in The Web Conference 2025 Fast Track process to facilitate resubmission. Authors of papers rejected from the main conference can submit their work with light revisions to our workshop.
